WIP Wednesday: Happy 2013!

WIP Count: 2
WIP Ideas: a bazillion!

I'm excited about 2013, granted 13 is my favorite (lucky) number so that may have something to do with it :) I like the idea of starting fresh again - whether it be with resolutions or evaluations.

I personally am more along the evaluation route. Examining how I treat myself mentally and physically is a bit of a soul searching process and is not always easy. But it is always good to evaluate where you are (metaphorically or literally) and move forward towards your goals. And with that I bring you my WIPs. I'm very proud of myself to only have 2 from 2012 hanging around!

-Pervalong Quilt-
So I'm a tad behind in this quilt. Charlotte from Displacement Activity and the rest of the Pervalongers all finished up in November 2012. Yes, this is why none of my gifts this year were handmade since I'm about 3 months behind :)

I have about 3/4ths of the quilting done and had every intention of finishing the inside quilting last night. And then...I ran out of thread. Oh the irony. The last 2 months I didn't have time to sew and now that I do I'm out of gray thread!

I'm thinking that by this weekend this quilt will be done. Well, that is the goal at least!

-Liberty Quilt-
No change since this post. But, since I've been away from the linky party for eons I'll refresh your memory :)

Projects coming up? Well I have the Madrona Road challenge quilt from the MQG to work on. I have the design complete but no fabric cut yet. So I'm not going to call it a WIP yet!

I'm linking up with Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday. Check out more WIP projects from around the web by clicking the button:

  6. I love the pervalong quilt. I have seen a few of them on flickr but I love yours. It reminds me so much of natural occurring amethyst. Beautiful.
